Creative Collaborations (Chemistries)- Joanne

  • Wise Fool received grant for training and assessment

    • putting one together that can be accessed for in-school and after school programs that we do

  • Also a pre- and post survey and an observational survey (Trina from Wise Fool, trained for that)

  • Tools to be accessible for everyone for this group- information collected for grants

  • Most of the Collaborative projects will happen in spring- join subcommittee meetings

  • Informal educators to collaborate in a public-school class- probably middle school- min. of 8 sessions with these groups (An informal educator with a formal educator)

    • access the information from these collaborations between formal and informal educators

  • Timeline will come soon from Wise Fool, possibly by early January

Adelante- Joanne

  • Came out of a desire to collaborate for out of school programming

  • Programming needed for youth while programming for adult happened at Adelante

  • Two informal educators, provide programming for the dates requested

  • Dates available for February

Communications Committee

  • Website will be January 1

  • Updating our subscription

Welcoming New members to meeting

  • Going over the principals

Summer Programming

  • On Santa Fe Birth2Career always a website to provide help and information on topics

  • Schools through the summer program

  • City has a summer program have transportation but would like to take the kids

  • Take teenagers or kids on these days

  • Spreadsheet for who can do what, and the dates and age range that would come

 

Collaborative programming for interns- Amanda

  • Each organization says what they can offer interns

  • A way that they can meet other people

  • Mollie- kick-off dinner for interns

  • SITE- tours and offers

  • During and after work hours events

  • Calendar will go out on Monday

  • Internships at different sites for four days a week and a single day for extended learning

  • CEN internship committee – Mollie as contact

Equity

  • Transportation issues

  • Using schools as a way 

  • Libraries too

Passport Project

  • Last year spearheaded by city arts commission

  • City may be able to leverage some transportation on Sundays for this year

  • Booklets for kids to put stamps in their passport

  • Cultural activities, museums and other activites for free

  • Kids entered into a drawing 

Old Business

  • Setting up a meeting to de-brief the Teachers Resource Fair 

Next Meeting

  • January 27th meeting will be planning meeting, everyone bring topics and what they want to discuss and do for the next 6 months

  • SFCF at 12-1pm- board room
